Rising Senior Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Rising Senior collects and uses information for Fall 2026 cohort membership, product operation, support, security, usability, and system stability.

Effective date: July 9, 2026

Rising Senior is enrolling families into the Fall 2026 cohort. This policy may be updated as the service and product mature.

Who operates Rising Senior

Rising Senior is a product of FutureCount Holdings LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company. Rising Senior is the product name used for the college transition, career readiness, and coaching support platform.

Questions about this Privacy Policy can be sent to support@risingsenior.com.

Information we collect

Rising Senior collects the information needed to operate customer accounts and the Fall 2026 cohort. This may include account and authentication information, parent and student contact information, household role information, college or university information, academic-path information, uploaded documents, coach notes, action items, product usage events, and support or administrative records.

Rising Senior does not ask customers to provide Social Security numbers, payment card numbers, or government identification numbers in the application.

Authentication and Google sign-in

When a user signs in with Google, Rising Senior uses Google authentication to confirm identity and connect the sign-in to the approved Rising Senior account. Rising Senior currently uses basic Google sign-in information such as name, email address, and profile identity data needed for authentication.

Rising Senior does not use Google user data for advertising, does not sell Google user data, and does not request Google permissions that are not needed for active product features.

How we use information

Rising Senior uses information to provide account access, verify identity, support household and role-based workflows, operate coach-in-the-loop workflows, support scoring and recommendations, maintain system stability, improve product usability, troubleshoot issues, and prepare aggregate service learnings.

Product usage data is collected to understand usability, improve features, maintain security, and keep the system stable during the Fall 2026 cohort.

Cookies and similar technologies

Rising Senior may use cookies, local browser storage, pixels, and similar technologies for essential site functions, public-site analytics, security, performance, and advertising measurement.

On public marketing pages, visitors can choose whether to allow analytics and advertising measurement or continue with essential site functions only. Essential choices do not prevent the site, cohort enrollment form, or sign-in links from working.

Analytics and advertising measurement may help Rising Senior understand how families find the site, which pages are useful, and whether public campaigns are producing customer enrollment. Rising Senior does not sell user information.

Student, parent, coach, and household data

Rising Senior is designed around role-based access. Students, parents, coaches, and administrators do not automatically see the same information. Visibility depends on account role, household relationship, permissions, and cohort configuration.

Parents agree to use Rising Senior on their own behalf. Students use Rising Senior on their own behalf and must be at least 18 years old.

Documents, artifacts, and AI-assisted features

Users may upload or enter documents and artifacts such as resumes, transcripts, degree information, syllabi, project evidence, deadlines, and career-related materials. Rising Senior may use this information to organize evidence, support scoring, generate recommendations, and help coaches and families understand what may need attention.

Some features may use AI-assisted interpretation. AI-assisted outputs can be incomplete, inaccurate, or based on incomplete information. They are decision-support tools, not guarantees and not a substitute for professional, academic, legal, financial, medical, or employment advice.

Service providers

Rising Senior uses third-party infrastructure and service providers to operate the product. These may include hosting, database, authentication, email delivery, storage, analytics, and AI providers such as Vercel, Railway, Neon, Supabase, Resend, Google, and OpenAI.

These providers are used to deliver and improve Rising Senior. Rising Senior does not sell user information.

Security and retention

Rising Senior uses reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect account access, application data, and customer records. No internet-connected service can guarantee perfect security.

Rising Senior keeps information for as long as needed to operate customer memberships and the Fall 2026 cohort, provide support, preserve required records, improve the product, and meet legal or operational obligations. Specific deletion or export requests can be sent to support@risingsenior.com.

Changes to this policy

Rising Senior may update this Privacy Policy as the product, cohort, legal requirements, or service providers change. The updated version will be posted on this page.
